Sharla Popadak

LISW

Sharla Popadak attended YSU for Social Work and completed her Bachelor's in 2014 and Master's in 2018, and is currently a Licensed Independent Social Worker. Sharla loves working with all ages, however, has a passion for children and adolescent behavioral and mental health. She has worked as a foster care case manager with therapeutic foster homes right out of college. She then spent a few years at Belmont Pines Hospital as an inpatient therapist for those in crisis specifically, although, she also worked with short-term residential, and spent time with those in the residential unit and partial hospitalization program as well. This solidified her passion for learning from and working with youth ages 5-18 and their families, specifically focusing on Autism, ADHD, trauma, and LGBTQ+. Sharla also has a personal passion for those struggling with chronic illness, domestic violence, anxiety, mood disorders (depression and Bipolar Disorder), personality disorders, military and their families, and life changes. Sharla is available at our Howland, Ohio office.
