She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and their families in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She has a passion for working with adults and adolescents. “I believe that the best way to make a therapeutic relationship work is collaboration, if a client tells me something isn't working, then we try something else. Everything is what is best for them and their needs.” She employs a variety of therapeutic modalities that include Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Behavioral Strategies. “I try to make sure that everyone feels heard, understood, and appreciated for the journey that they are on. It is hard to reach out and ask for help sometimes, so you need someone who can help you with that journey. And recognize what is going to help you and listen to you. “ Lisa has experience working with individuals with addiction, anger, anxiety, grief/loss, life stressors, trauma, LGBTQ issues, and mood disorders. Lisa is available in our Howland, Ohio Office.
