Julie is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervision designation and a licensed independent chemical dependency counselor. She obtained her bachelor’s in Psychology and master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Youngstown State University and her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Akron. She has worked in the counseling profession as a counselor, supervisor, and educator for over ten years. She specializes in women’s wellness, anxiety disorders, depression, and mood disorders, perinatal and postpartum disorders, youth and young adult issues, trauma and stressor-related disorders, and substance use disorders.
