Jazmine Starcher, CMHC Intern, CT, is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and is due to graduate in December 2026. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and brings more than 17 years of experience in healthcare and client-centered care through her background as a Licensed Massage Therapist.
Jazmine is passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, life transitions, relationships, and other challenges that impact emotional well-being. Her counseling approach is integrative, with Person-Centered Therapy as her foundation and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) incorporated when appropriate. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship built on empathy, respect, authenticity, and trust creates a safe environment for clients to explore their experiences and develop meaningful change.
As a counseling intern, Jazmine strives to meet each client where they are while recognizing their individual strengths, values, and goals. She is committed to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental support and empowering clients to develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence.
